FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – After almost two years without an event, a live performance is scheduled at the North Peace Cultural Centre for the end of September.

Canada’s Ballet Jörgen (CBJ) will be taking over the stage at the NPCC with their production of Creations In Isolation on Thursday, September 30th.

“We are so pleased to be able to offer this performance to the community of Fort St. John. After such a long wait, it is amazing that we can return with performers of such calibre,” says Oliver Hachmeister of the North Peace Cultural Society.

“The fact that in addition to their performance, Ballet Jörgen is willing to offer classes to the local dancers is so incredible.”

The program will showcase pieces from classical ballets like Romeo & Juliet and The Nutcracker, as well as some contemporary creations by Ontario choreographers.

Creations in Isolation will hit the NPCC stage on September 30th at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are available on the NPCC website, in person at the Box Office, and by calling 250-785-1992.

Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for students and seniors, and $20 for children.

More information about the ballet can be found on its website.
