BC Wildfire Service says the wildfire near Mount Lemoray is estimated at over 150 hectares and is currently burning vigorously.
Fort St. John Department and Charlie Lake FD have sent firefighters to help BCWS with the fire.

The BCWS says structures have been lost and additional structures are immediately threatened. The wildfire has also impacted a major BC Hydro transmission line.
“A birddog is on scene and is assessing objectives for airtankers,” says the BCWS.
“Visibility is limited due to the smoke column, and airtankers operations may be impacted. One helicopter and an Incident Commander are on site, and additional resources are en route.”
Highway 97 is closed in both directions between Powder King Road and Old Hasler Road.
Traffic is being turned around at both ends of the closure, which is 32 km north of the Pine Pass and 44 km south of Chetwynd.
There are currently 65 active fires in the Prince George Fire Centre.
