POUCE COUPE, B.C. – The Village of Pouce Coupe has announced the six candidates looking to fill two empty council seats.

The candidates looking to fill councillor Ken Drover’s and Donna White’s council seats are Synthia May Lavallie, Richard Mineault, Les Randall, Mike Sudnik, Danielle Marie Veach and Marcel Lawrence Woodill.

Advanced voting takes place September 8th at the Village office from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the general voting day is September 18th at the community centre from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Two of the six candidates reside in Dawson Creek, and the others call the Village home.

Drover resigned in February following Mayor Lorraine Michetti’s controversial social media activity, while White didn’t state her reason for resigning.
