FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Community Arts Council is seeking public feedback on a Creative Hub being developed in the city.

The Creative Hub is envisioned to be a long-term, sustainable facility where artists, artisans, performers, musicians, and other creators can hone their skills, said the Arts Council.

“We are seeking input from the arts and culture community to help us determine what spaces and amenities could be included in the facility, the attributes of a preferred location for the facility, and identify potential revenue and partnership opportunities,” said the Arts Council.

The Arts Council hired Expedition Management Consulting Ltd. to assist with developing a feasibility study, which is expected to be completed in December.

The survey is available until September 7th, and stakeholder information sessions will take place on August 26th and September 2nd. Paper copies of the survey are available on request, and more information on the sessions will be released closer to the dates.

The study is being made possible with financial support from Canadian Heritage, the City of Fort St. John, the District of Taylor, and the Peace River Regional District.
