FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of Fort St. John says the Pomeroy Sport Centre ice rinks will be open on August 22nd.
Tthe main floor arena is currently closed while staff installs the ice. The City says there will be no disruptions to programming, and the Northern Vac Track will remain open.
“It may be a little noisy at times and quite chilly – so bring a light coat or warm sweater, and park in the front to avoid the work areas,” said the City’s recreation department.
Ice booking requests are open to the public on August 30th. Anyone looking to book the ice is asked to call 250-785-4592 and request to speak to the facilities allocation clerk.
