HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. – The District of Hudon’s Hope is asking residents to limit outdoor water habits due to issues at the water treatment plant.

For the time being, residents are asked to use water for lawns and landscaping during cooler hours of the day and limit watering times to no longer than a half hour for any given area.

The district suggests watering lawns in the early morning, every second day to develop deeper root systems that are more tolerant to hot, dry conditions.

The district says watering in the morning also reduces fungus growth.

Anyone with questions regarding the notice can contact the district office at 250-783-9901.
