VANCOUVER, B.C. – ICBC is urging residents to share the road safely this upcoming long weekend.

“Every B.C Day long weekend, on average, three people are killed, and 600 people are injured throughout the province,” says ICBC in a release.

Across British Columbia, police will be cracking down on impaired drivers as part of the enforcement and education campaign running this month.

For residents looking to take a road trip, ICBC has released some tips to help keep them safe on the drive:
