FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – BC Hydro has restored power to a section of town after an outage was reported around 8 a.m. Monday morning.

According to Hydro, the outage was due to “bird contacting wires,” it was reported at around 8 a.m., and by 9:30 a.m., power was restored.

There were also reports of power flickering in the Fort St. John and Charlie Lake area a little before 6 a.m on Monday, July 26th. Hydro couldn’t pinpoint a reason as to why, as it was just a quick flicker.
