TAYLOR, B.C. – The Taylor Bridge will get some repairs to its railing and parts of the deck on Thursday.
Fort St. John Mayor Lori Ackerman posted on Facebook, saying there will be single-lane alternating traffic flow from 7:00 p.m. and 3:30 a.m.
According to Ackerman, the bridge was damaged by a motor vehicle incident that damaged the railing in the early hours of Saturday morning.
“Dawson Road Maintenance will also be utilizing this time to perform some minor repairs to the bridge deck,” wrote Ackerman.
B.C. announced on July 14th another technical advisory group would be formed later this summer to provide non-technical feedback on the future of the Taylor Bridge.
