DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The Dawson Creek Music Festival has new dates after being cancelled due to the weather last weekend.

The Dare to Dream Society announced on Facebook Tuesday that the festival will take place on July 31st and August 2nd.

“Mark your calendars and get to Kin Park Bowl. It is going to be an old fashioned neighbourhood block party.” said the society in a Facebook post.

Anyone looking to fill up available retail and food spaces at the festival can contact the festival organizer, Jeremy Linklater, at (250) 219-6556. The festival also has slots open for bands and musicians.

Earlier this month, Linklater said the free venue at Kin Park would have something for everybody, including a water slide, a bouncy castle, water balloon fights, late night performances, a beer garden, and more.
