FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of Fort St. John’s asphalt overlay program is focusing on six main areas this year.
Each year the City spends around $1 million on overlaying or repaving roads, which adds a new layer of asphalt to be placed flush with the gutters and helps to expand the lifespan of roads in the area.

The road overlay project is in addition to the various capital projects that will be completely rebuilding road structures, replacing underground infrastructure, and the pothole repair program.
