HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. – Hudson’s Hope RCMP responded to 38 calls for service between June 19th and July 18th, according to the detachment’s monthly bulletin.
During the time frame, 39 written violations and warning tickets were issued, with the main focus still being highway and road safety, especially in the various construction zones along Highway 29.
Highway 29 has multiple construction zones between Hudson’s Hope and Fort St. John, and there is a large fluctuation between speed zones. RCMP has been monitoring these zones, and fines can range from $196 to $253.
