FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Fort St. John RCMP has reported that a suspect has turned themselves in regarding a string of thefts from vehicles in the Fort St. John and Dawson Creek areas.
The suspect confessed on June 1st and brought a variety of tools that had been stolen to the detachment. Only one of the tools brought in was positively identified and returned to the owner.
RCMP asks residents if tools had been taken from their vehicles in FSJ or Dawson Creek to contact the detachment at 250-787-8140. Residents who call will be required to provide a detailed description, including any specific markings, serial numbers, or other unique identifying marks.
