FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Say goodbye to the birthday greetings on the marquee of the Lido Theatre at the end of the month.
No need to worry though, it’s because the marquee needs to be available to advertise upcoming events. With the ease in provincial regulations and restrictions, the Lido has resumed booking events.
According to Lido’s Brian Kirschner, some comedy shows are coming up in August. The Peace Country Comedy Fest is in September, and a CD launch party for Rose Prairie Romance will finally happen after waiting over a year.
Kirschner has also been working on a rooftop patio at the Lido, which would be the first in the city. He’s currently working on getting the permit ready.
