VICTORIA, B.C. – The Northern Health Region added two new cases Wednesday, dropping the active case count to 28.

There are two people in hospital, both are in critical care.

There were no COVID-19 deaths in the region, keeping the total at 157.

Of the 7,802 cases since last March, 7,617 have since recovered.

There were 2,723 doses given since the last report, bringing the total number of doses given in the region to 246,684.

The province added 59 new cases Wednesday, bringing the active case count to 624.

There are 86 people in hospital, 20 of whom are in critical care.

There were no COVID-19 deaths across B.C., keeping the total at 1,759.

Out of 147,856 total cases in the province, 145,455 have since recovered.

There were 63,791 doses given since the last report, bringing the total number of doses given in the province to 5,404,047.
