FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Evacuation Alert for Electoral Area ‘B’ has been rescinded.
Residents in the following areas were under alert since June 30th:
As of July 5th, local officials determined the situation is safe.
The fire is being held, and the BC Wildfire Dashboard estimates the fire area to cover about 6,000 hectares.
There are 42 active fires in the Prince George Fire Centre, including seven fires that were reported in the last 48 hours.
