BEAVERLODGE, ALTA – Beaverlodge RCMP have arrested a Horse Lake First Nations man facing an attempted murder charge.
Police located Harley Ferguson on June 25th after a warrant was issued for his arrest earlier this month. Following a judicial hearing, Ferguson was remanded into custody and is scheduled to attend Grande Prairie Provincial Court on June 30th
Two individuals were arrested and charged after Beaverlodge RCMP responded to a shooting on June 12th. Police say a 27-year-old man was injured after an altercation with a male and female, who left the home before mounties arrived.
The injured male was taken to hospital and treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries. He was treated and later released from hospital.
