FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. -Northern Health announced an end to the COVID-19 outbreak at the Site C Dam project on Wednesday.

In all, 56 cases were associated with the outbreak, which includes separate clusters of cases since March. All of those cases have since recovered, says Northern Health.

The outbreak was originally declared on April 28th among workforces at Site C. Northern Health declared the outbreak following 34 lab-confirmed cases in five clusters.

Northern Health Medical Health Officers, Site C and its contractors, and WorksafeBC continue to work closely in response to the outbreak and are monitoring for any future clusters of COVID-19 activity.

Since March 2020, there have been 123 cases of COVID-19 at Site C.
