MERRITT, B.C. – The British Columbia High School Rodeo Association held the 2021 Junior Provincial Finals in Merritt over the weekend.

Students from across B.C. battled to qualify for one of four spots in each event for the National High School Rodeo Finals in July.

Chetwynd Eighth Grader Ethan Nelson was the winner of the All-Around Boys award.

Here are the results of northeastern B.C. athletes from the BC High School Rodeo Junior Provincials:

Fifth place- Landon Dowling, Chetwynd. Chase Kohorst, Quesnel.

First place- Mavrik Studley, Dawson Creek.
