FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Northern Health announced the end of the COVID-19 outbreak at Heritage Manor II in Fort St. John.
According to a release, there were a total of five lab-confirmed cases associated with the outbreak, and all of the residents have since recovered.
“Northern Health would like to thank Heritage Manor II staff, residents, and their families, for their patience, cooperation, and support in recent weeks,” says a release.
The outbreak was declared on May 18th. At the time, three residents had tested positive for COVID-19.
There are two more ongoing COVID-19 outbreaks in the Northern Health Region.
The Site C Dam project had an outbreak declared on April 28th, and the Special Care Unit at Rotary Manor South in Dawson Creek had an outbreak declared on June 11th.
