FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The last day of the North Peace Secondary School Gradfest is taking place Saturday, June 19th, and volunteers are needed.
The all-day event is happening at the curling rink starting at 11:15 a.m. and ending at 11 p.m. Shifts are broken up into two-hour shifts, with a majority of the volunteers needed for earlier times.
Volunteers are needed for game monitoring, prize attendants, to help out with sanitation and other areas.
Anyone looking to volunteer can text the Volunteer Coordinator, Ashlynne, at 250-793-3814 or email [email protected].
The Grad Parade will be taking place on Friday, June 18th, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Family and friends are encouraged to drive the selected route to celebrate grads. It should be noted that the roads are not closed to the parade, but traffic control will be in the area to slow drivers down.
Throughout the week, 2021 graduates were invited to take place several events, including a scavenger hunt, and movies in the NPSS field.
