FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) is holding a pop-up vaccine clinic at the Festival Plaza on Tuesday.

The Urban and Away From Home Vaccination Clinic will be open from June 15 to 17th and will provide the Moderna vaccine to Indigenous, Métis, and Inuit people living in FSJ and surrounding areas.

There will be a blessing and opening ceremony as well as speakers, including Fort Nelson First Nations Chief Sharleen Gale, Acting Vice President of the FNHS Northern Operations Julie Morrison, FSJ Mayor Lori Ackerman, and First Nations Health Council Regional Representative Northeast Bev Lambert.

Indigenous peoples 18 years and older are eligible for the Moderna shot and can call 1-833-384-4001 (FNHA) or 1-833-838-2323 to register. Walk-ins will also be accepted at the Plaza.
