June proclaimed ‘Parks and Recreation Month”

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of Fort St. John has proclaimed the month of June “Parks and Recreation Month”.

The request was made during the May 25th council meeting, hoping to bring awareness to activities available within the city.

The proclamation also looks to encourage residents to visit local attractions, businesses, and events. The goal is also to promote the Visitor Centre and all the services they offer.

Every Wednesday, throughout June, Moose FM will participate in an activity with the City’s Recreation Department. Keep up to date on all things recreation on its Facebook page.
