DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Derrick Turner appeared in Dawson Creek Provincial Court Tuesday to schedule an arraignment hearing.
Turner, who was charged after a vehicle crashed into Fitness for Life, will return to court on June 29th, where he is expected to enter a plea.
Turner turned himself into Dawson Creek RCMP on May 13th after a warrant was issued for his arrest on April 7th.
Two women were injured during the crash.

The same vehicle matched the description of a possible impaired driver complaint before crashing into the gym. Police say the driver failed to pull over after an officer attempted a traffic stop after spotting the vehicle at the Esso gas station at 700 100b Avenue.
Turner appeared in a Fort St. John courtroom on Wednesday, facing an assault charge. The case was adjourned until June 24th.
