VICTORIA, B.C. – The Northern Health Region added 16 new cases Friday, moving the active case count to 110.
There are five people in hospital, all of whom are in critical care.
No COVID-19 deaths were recorded Friday, keeping the total at 152.

Out of 7,641 total cases in the north, 7,376 have recovered.
The province added 317 new cases Friday, moving the active case count to 3,441.
Of the 292 people in hospital, 79 are in critical care.
There were two COVID-19 related deaths Friday, moving the provincial total to 1,692.
In total, British Columbia has recorded 143,581 cases of COVID-19, 138,360 of those have since recovered.
Northern Health updated the list of COVID-19 school exposures Friday.
Robert Ogilvie Elementary had a COVID-19 exposure on May 20th.
B.C. health officials announced Thursday most people in the province will be able to get their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine sooner than originally thought.
Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says the interval will be reduced to eight weeks between the first and second dose.
The province still has a maximum interval of 16 weeks between doses.
