VICTORIA, B.C. – The Northern Health Region added 22 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday, moving the active case count to 143.

There are nine people in hospital, four of whom are in critical care.

One COVID-19 death was confirmed, moving the regional total to 149.

Out of 7,524 confirmed cases, 7,227 have recovered.

British Columbia added 357 new cases, moving the active case count to 4,636.

There are 331 people in hospital, 113 of whom are in critical care.

The province confirmed three COVID-19 related deaths Thursday, bringing the total to 1,661.

Of the 140,953 confirmed cases in British Columbia, 134,521 have recovered.

The BC CDC added two more flights involving Fort St. John to the list of COVID-19 flight exposures.

Air Canada/Jazz flight 8184 on May 16th, from Fort St. John to Vancouver. Rows three to nine are affected.

North Cariboo Air flight 102 on May 6th from Kelowna to Fort St. John. Rows two to eight are affected.
