DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Sections of 8th Street in Dawson Creek will be closed for road and new bridge construction between May 25th to the 28th.
Highway 2 between 106th and 107th Avenue and 110th Avenue at the 8th Street intersection will be closed during this time.
“Both locations will have traffic control persons on site 24 hours/day to assist persons and vehicles with access to businesses in these areas close to construction,” says Brocor Construction in a road closure notice.
The closure is for utilities and utility upgrades in preparation for the new bridge construction.
The complete closure will be in effect 24 hours for four days.
The City of Dawson Creek is notifying the public that this is a Ministry of Transportation project.
