PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – Following the North Central Local Government Association’s AGM and convention on May 5th and 6th, the association has named the 2021-2022 board of directors and executive.

The new NCLGA president is Cori Ramsay, Councillor of the City of Prince George. Before being named president, Ramsay served as the second vice president and first vice president of the NCLGA.

“My focus as president will be to work with the board and members to advocate for solutions to issues and opportunities identified in the 2021 NCLGA resolutions,” says Ramsay. “The 2021 convention provided an opportunity for members to learn about health services in NCLGA communities, affordable housing and homelessness, and resilient resource industries.”
