DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – ARGO Road Maintenance is conducting regularly scheduled cleanups and minor repairs in the South Peace Region.

On Monday, the One Island Lake Bridge on 211S Storie Road will be reduced to single-lane alternating traffic while the bridge is washed.

The Peavine Creek South Bridge on Highway 52E and the Walper Bridge on 188 Krantz Road will be cleaned on Tuesday, both bridges will have traffic limited to one lane.

The Bear Mountain Bridge on 215 B. Smith Road will be washed on Wednesday.

Between Monday and Wednesday, crews will be repairing the Honeymoon Creek Bridge on Highway 97S in the Pine Pass. Traffic will be reduced to single-lane alternating flow.

On Thursday, ARGO will be spraying patching on 1 Old Edmonton Highway and 20 Gundy Road. There will be slow-moving traffic in the area as a result.

Dust control work will be done on Highway 52E and 11 Kelly Lake Road at the end of the week.

Grading work will be completed on 209M Pierce, 6 Sweetwater, 223Q Yakabowski, 214Q Kilkerran, 211A Wallis, 215S Smook, 213M Merrick, 213S Dennis, 202 Klemmer, 18 One Island Lake, 213O Oakford, 211E Scholz, and 188 Krantz roads.

Crews will also conduct rest area maintenance at the Pouce Coupe Scales this week.

In the Progress area, from Monday to Thursday crews will be brushing 214N Wrangler Road.

From Tuesday to Thursday, debris removal and repairs will be made on Highway 97S.

Starting Tuesday, grading will be done on 251 Livingston, 206 Gibbon, and 253A Dump roads. Work is expected to be done by Friday.

On Thursday, the Barringham Bridge on 22 Braden Road, Brassey Creek Bridge on Highway 52N and on 13 Upper Cutbank Road will be washed. Traffic will be reduced to one lane alternating flow.

Grading will be done on 265 Sunset Prairie Road, and rest area maintenance will be done at the East Pine Rest Area.

In the Pine Pass area, crews will install a retaining wall on the Honeymoon Creek Bridge on Highway 97S, repair and maintain signage, and clean up the West Pine Rest Area. Work starts Monday and is expected to be finished by Wednesday.

In the Chetwynd and surrounding area, grading work will be done on Lone Prairie Road, all bridges, signs and barriers on Highway 97S and 29N will be washed and maintained, and the garbage cans will be emptied.

Grading work will be completed on Highway 52E and Kinuseo Falls Road in the Tumbler Ridge area.

The culvert drainage will be repaired and maintained on both Highway 52N and 52E, and the road surfaces will be cleaned.
