DAWSON CREEK, B.C – Northern Health is accepting drop-ins at the vaccine clinic in Dawson Creek.
The Encana Events Centre will be open to drop-ins until May 14th and May 17th to 21st from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Dawson Creek was identified as a high-priority community in early April after recording the highest case count per 100,000 population on a 7-day average. The city had a rate of 552.31 per 100,000, which was the highest in the province. As a result, Northern Health accelerated its vaccine program in the city to accept anyone 18 and older.

Fort St. John was also identified as a COVID-19 hot spot by the provincial health officer last week.
Anyone 18 and older can register and book an appointment to get their jab in the Energetic City. The Totem Mall clinic is running until May 14th and from May 18th to 21st.
