FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of Fort St. John’s Home Town Tourist Month is taking place throughout May instead of June this year.

The event’s goal is to support local and provide opportunities to try new food, new activities, and new experiences within the City.

The city’s recreation department has also put together a passport event to make the most of the Home Town Tourist month. It includes activities to do, things to try, and some deals at local businesses. Residents can pick up a passport at the Visitor Centre in the Pomeroy Sport Centre or print it off themselves.

Passports can be taken to the local business included, and a stamp will be given once you’ve supported their business. Collect as many stamps as possible and submit the passport to the Visitor Centre to enter a chance to win a prize basket.

More information can be found on the City’s website.
