FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Shane Sutherland still awaits to face trial for the murder of Amanda Black.

Once again, the case was adjourned while lawyers await another RCMP evidence disclosure. Sutherland appeared in Fort St John provincial court Monday via CCTV and will return on May 31st.

Police arrived at a home in Village St John, finding Black deceased around 7:30 p.m. on February 8th. Sutherland was charged with second-degree murder and remains in custody.
