UPDATE: Power has been restored as of 2:00 p.m. The cause of the outage was not indicated.
CHETWYND, B.C. – BC Hydro is informing residents about a power outage in Chetwynd.
The outage is east of 47th avenue, southwest of the John Hart Highway 97, north of Highway 29.
The cause of the outage is currently under investigation according to the website. Power has been off since 11:54 Tuesday.
Approximately 1,434 customers are affected.
