FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Site C is resuming the AstraZeneca vaccination program Thursday for workers 40 years and older.
The program was paused in March after concerns surrounding the risk of blood clots with the vaccine for anyone younger than 55.
Northern Health authorized the resumption of the vaccinations, and the clinic will open back up on April 22nd, says BC hydro.
The site camp had 13 active COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday.
There were 1,308 workers reported at camp, including 24 in isolation.
BC Hydro has been notified of 82 positive COVID-19 cases at the site since March 2020.
