FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – With the upcoming municipal by-election fast approaching on May 15th, an all candidates forum will be taking place on May 3rd.

The forum will be taking place virtually, with all five candidates taking part and streamed on Facebook under different media outlets in the city. The stream will be monitored so questions can be posted live throughout the event.

The candidates running in the Municipal By-Election are Sarah MacDougall, Tom Whitton, Jim Lequiere, Jon Gosselin, and Trystan Jones. Information about the candidates and their platform can be found on Energeticcity.ca/Election.

The virtual forum will take place Monday, May 3rd, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The by-election will take place on May 15th at the Pomeroy Sport Centre.

Advanced voting is taking place on May 5th and May 12th. Special voting opportunities are expected to occur at senior care facilities on May 13th and the hospital on May 15th.
