FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Students from Anne Roberts Young Elementary School will be getting a visit from two BC Lions football players Tuesday morning to speak about environmental responsibility.

The players will be visiting as part of the FortisBC Energy Champions program to speak about being mindful of energy consumption and ways to save energy during a time where everyone’s at home more.

The 40-minute presentation will be via Zoom for all students in Kindergarten to Grade 7 at ARYE.

The BC Lions FortisBC Energy Champions program typically visits elementary schools throughout the Lower Mainland & Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island and the Interior. Since health guidelines restrict these visits, the program has gone virtual.
