FORT ST. JOHN, B.C – Fort St. John RCMP wants to speak with the person who returned a cash register that was stolen from a local convenience store.

The police responded to a robbery on March 7th in the 100th Street and 96th Avenue area, where the thieves stole cigarettes and the cash register. Shortly after the robbery, the cash register was returned to the store employee from an unknown individual.

“The Fort St John RCMP wish to speak to the Good Samaritan(s) as it is believed they may have additional information invaluable to the investigation and ask that person(s) to please contact the police,” says the RCMP.

Police continue to investigate and ask that anyone with additional information about this incident or can assist in identifying any individuals involved are asked to contact the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
