VICTORIA, B.C. – Funding applications are now open for the Circuit Breaker Business Grant for eligible bars, breweries, wineries, gyms, and fitness centres that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Accepted businesses will receive one-time funding to help with expenses like rent, insurance, employee wages, maintenance, and utilities. The grant can also help cover any unexpected costs resulting from restrictions in the Provincial Health Orders (PHO).

Businesses will be eligible to receive grants between $1,000 to $10,000. The funding is available for businesses of any size that have been in operation since February 1st, 2021.

Any business that was closed or had its license revoked due to not complying with PHO is not eligible for the grant.
