VICTORIA, B.C. – Vaccine registrations will open to Northern Health residents 40 years and older on April 19th.

Northern Health released an updated schedule Monday for registration and booking vaccination appointments.

Starting Wednesday, registration opens for anyone 50 years and older. It will then open to 45 years and older Friday, and on Monday, April 19th, registration will be open to people 40 years and older.

Effective immediately, all seniors 55 years and older and Indigenous peoples 18 years and older can book their vaccine appointments.

Residents must first register for the vaccine through the B.C. government registration portal or by phone at 1-833-838-2323. Once registered, Northern Health will contact you to book a vaccine appointment.

Appointments take about 10 minutes, and Northern Health asks residents to wait an extra 15 minutes for observation before leaving the clinic.
