VANCOUVER, B.C. – ICBC has announced that they have begun to mail out COVID-19 rebate cheques.

According to a March 26th release, ICBC has begun mailing cheques in small batches for eligible customers and will be working on options to get more cheques out in the coming weeks.

ICBC previously had to postpone the mailing of the cheques, originally scheduled for March 15th, due to a cyber attack on a third-party vendor.

The investigation into the cyberattack is still ongoing in Ontario and ICBC says they will provide an update regarding the vendor issuing the cheques.

As of March 26th, rebate cheques have been issued to approximately 30,000 customers.
