FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A snowfall warning has been issued for the North Peace and Highway 97 – Pine Pass.

According to Environment Canada, the region is expected to have snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 centimetres.

A frontal system will be approaching central B.C and spreading snow heavy at times over Highway 97 – Pine Pass Tuesday afternoon and moving on to the region in the evening.

Heavy snow should taper off by Wednesday morning.

With rapidly accumulating snow, travel may be difficult, and visibility may be reduced. Make sure to adjust driving with the changing road conditions and check for DriveBC for updated conditions.
