Peace River Regional District directors approved construction for a water spray park at their February 25th meeting.
The spray park was suggested by residents in 2016, and $350,000 has been set aside for the project in the regional district’s 2020 budget.
The spray park will be located on the northeast corner of the Chetwynd and District Recreation Grounds. It’s estimated the park would cost $90,000 a year to operate.
