CHARLIE LAKE, B.C. – The Crystal Cup Pond Hockey Challenge and Sid Davis youth Memorial Challenge has been postponed for the second year in a row.

The announcement was made on Thursday through Facebook .

The Crystal Cup Executive Committee had initially hoped things would’ve settled down to hold the tournament this year. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic, it doesn’t look feasible.

The Committee wants to thank the players, fans, and sponsors for their ongoing patience and understanding and look forward to next year.

Last year, the event was postponed out of respect for the 2020 BC Winter Games.

The event happens annually on Charlie Lake.
