FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Helen Knott, local author, and social worker, among many other things, was a special guest on Tuesday’s episode of ‘TELUS Talks with Tamara Taggart’.
When someone goes on the podcast as a guest, TELUS Talks will make a $500 donation to a charity of the guest’s choice. Knott chose Book Club for Inmates, a Canadian Charity that helps provide books and other reading materials to inmates across the Country.
The charity has a special place in Knott’s heart as her grandpa had spent time in prison and was unable to read.
