As of around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, they said they expect another 5 to 10 cm and crews were working on the main highways, breaking off into the side road networks when they could.
Crews reported that with the cold temperatures, wind, & traffic, sand is quickly getting blown off the road.
Anyone driving in the area, the company is recommending drivers plan extra time for their trips, turn tail lights on, leave extra space between vehicles, and adjust driving to conditions.
