FORT ST. JOHN, B.C – Access to the North Peace Leisure Pool from 100 Street will be closed from Feb. 3rd to Feb. 16th as the City prepares for the High on Ice Winter Fest.
The City recommends that residents use the entrance on 96th Avenue to park at the pool or park behind the Curling Club and Pomeroy Sport Centre.
As the City prepares for the event, it is requested that the public stays out of Centennial Park during event preparations.
There should be no public access near the ice carvers as it is an active construction site. The ice sculptures will be available to view through a drive-thru format starting at 4 p.m. on Feb. 12th.
The 2021 High on Ice Winter Fest, based out of Centennial Park, runs throughout the Family Day long weekend from Feb. 12th – 15th.
