CHARLIE LAKE, B.C. – The Charlie Lake Parent Advisory Council is updating families about the new school playground.
According to a social media post, the playground design has been finalized, and funding is in place for the structure.
Fundraising efforts are beginning for the rubber base installation, which is a School District 60 requirement.
Installation is slated for Spring 2022, pending funding and the district’s maintenance calendar availability as they’ve agreed to help with installation.
The Charlie Lake PAC is still actively seeking grants and donations for the rubber base and will provide tax receipts upon request for those interested in donating.
The PAC will also be doing a large fundraiser in the Spring, which will be announced at a later date.
