FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society is celebrating its 40th Anniversary with two fundraisers next month.
Starting February 1st, the Women’s Resource 40 years and $40,000 Challenge will begin. According to Becky Belle, co-chair on the board, the organization is looking for 40 different businesses or sponsors to donate $1,000 a day for 40 days for this fundraiser. Those who donated will be recognized as a ‘Donor of the Day’ and will be highlighted on media outlets in FSJ.
With the funds raised, the Women’s Resource Society is looking to replace the roof of their office building.
