BUICK, B.C. – The Blueberry Nation released a statement today announcing that their Covid-19 vaccination clinic is not available until further notice.
The clinic was scheduled to be held between January 19th and 21st at Blueberry First Nation Health Services.
Blueberry First Nation Health Director Doreen L’Hirondelle says there is not much information available on the closure.
“Our vaccination clinics were cancelled, and we don’t know where the vaccines are. So First Nations Health Authority is doing their best to try and locate them.”
There is no set date for the clinic, but L’Hirondelle expects the next one to be in the very near future.
She says the First Nations Health Authority will notify Blueberry Health Services when the vaccines arrive.
Members will be notified when the clinic is up and running again.
