VICTORIA, B.C. – The Northern Health Region have reported 45 new COVID-19 cases as of Wednesday, bringing the number of active cases to 480.
The total number of confirmed cases in the Region now stands at 2,651 with 2,105 recoveries to date. The province saw over 50 recoveries in the past 24 hours.
There are currently 38 people hospitalized and 16 in ICU in the region.

Provincially, 519 new cases were recorded, bringing the total of active cases to 4,810.
Out of the 59,072 cases since Spring 2020, 51,893 have recovered.
Hospitalizations in B.C. are at 360, with 76 of those in ICU.
The province’s death count now sits at 1,031.
